These days it feels like you have to look like you’re from a workout infomercial to be allowed a gym membership. Sometimes you don’t want to be seen working up a sweat, so here’s five workout routines that you can master from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Live Love Party – Zumba

Live Love Party are a group from the Philippines who choreograph fun and easy dance routines to songs on the Top of the Pop charts. Instead of having a drill sergeant teach you the moves, you’re met with a bunch of smiling faces who wear cute matching outfits and have more swag than Obama.

The dances are up to five minutes each, meaning you can do a few in a row and take a water break when you’re danced-out.

Yoga with Adriene

Adriene and her adorable pup bring you good vibes with her yoga videos. She’s not your typical yogie who’s serious and a bit dull (let’s be honest). She’ll brighten your day with self-depreciating humour and dirty jokes.

The Yoga with Adriene channel has a variety of different workouts for relaxation, self-growth, balance and more challenging, thigh-burning power yoga videos.

Adriene is a believer in the “do you” mantra and wears funky yoga pants to prove it. We recommend you subscribe x10.

Five minute workouts with Blogilates

Working out often doesn’t rank high on the priority list, particularly during the exam period. It can be hard to find time to hit the gym, so that’s where Blogilates comes in. The channel features ab-crunching, sweat-dripping five minute workouts that will make you feel the burn.

You might feel like there’s a special place reserved in hell for the smiley instructor who seems to take joy in your weakness, but you’ll grow to love her and even be inspired by her yelling-style of motivation.

The workout is intense and gruelling but you can take solace in the fact that it’ll be dead in five minutes.

Sweat with Kayla

You’ve probably heard of Kayla Itsines, the ridiculously toned YouTuber who made the Young Rich list for a brand worth $46 million. She’s also broken five Guinness World Records for her massive bootcamp class. So it’s safe to say millions of people agree that her business of making rockin’ bods is a success.

According to Kayla, she only works out 28 minutes, 3-4 times a week. Sounds totally doable, right?

She definitely knows what she’s talking about when it comes to exercise. It’d only be wise to check her out.

Free bellydance classes

Why not spice up your workout with a bit of belly dancing fun? This way you’ll be able to learn some striking moves, try something fresh and workout at the same time.

The most popular channel on YouTube that delivers sizzling and dynamic routines is Free bellydance classes – should be easy to remember.

The lessons are taught by Tiazza Rose who has made a handful of dance DVDs in her career, so get on board.
